Situated atop the Gleniffer Brae Manor House, the garden provides breathtaking views of Wollongong City and showcases a diverse collection of plants from all over the globe.

What to do at Wollongong Botanic Garden

Visitors can also encounter a variety of native wildlife such as Bower Birds, Ring Tail Possums, Kookaburras, and native bees within the garden. Take a stroll through the extensive rainforest collection, which features a wide range of Illawarra rainforest species, to truly escape into nature.

Visitors can join guided tours, take part in gardening workshops, go on nighttime walks, and enjoy the popular Sunset Cinema. The Gardens are open every day from 7 am, except on Good Friday and Christmas Day. Closing times range from 5 pm to 6.45 pm.
